WestWind Engineering Wins Subcontract Role for JPL Engineering Support

SAN PEDRO, CA----WestWind Engineering, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has won a subcontract role as part of the ATK team for a JPL engineering services contract.
The Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) of Pasadena, CA, has awarded ATK Space
Division Engineering Services (Pasadena, CA) a three-year, $15million services contract. Under the contract, the ATK team will provide mechanical and thermal engineering support services to JPL for an initial three years, with two one-year options. ATK is the prime contractor and subcontractors include: ATA Engineering; Jackson & Tull, Inc., Aerospace Div. (Seabrook, MD); SGT, Inc. (Greenbelt, MD); and WestWind Engineering.
Through its acquisition of Swales Aerospace, ATK has supported JPL since 1997. The company has provided mechanical and thermal engineering support services to NASA JPL on programs such as the Mars science Laboratory (MSL), the Moon Mineralogy Mapper, the Urey Instrument, the Orion Program, and the Planck, Juno, and Aquarius Programs. |
